DEIB METRICS IN HIGHER EducATION

adult and infant hands
Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives in higher education are widely debated, partly due to the lack of clear and consistent definitions. This conceptual ambiguity extends to how DEIB efforts are evaluated. This study analyzes documents from 20 top-ranked universities and 46 peer-reviewed articles to examine how DEIB concepts are defined and measured. By identifying trends and gaps in evaluation methods, this study aims to strengthen institutional accountability and improve the effectiveness of DEIB initiatives.
